FAQ
What is soft pity?
Soft pity is the stretch before hard pity (e.g. pull 90) where the top-rarity rate starts climbing sharply with every pull. It isn't in the official rate tables; the numbers come from community data, so the calculator marks them as estimates.
Do pity and the 50/50 guarantee carry over to the next banner?
Yes for character banners in Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero and Wuthering Waves: they carry over to the next banner of the same type. Blue Archive recruitment points usually expire when the banner ends, and Arknights: Endfield's 120-pull featured guarantee is counted per banner.
Do character and weapon banners share pity?
No. Character, weapon (Light Cone, W-Engine) and standard banners each keep their own pity. Make sure you pick the right banner type in the calculator.
What's the difference between "unlucky" and "worst case"?
"Unlucky" is the number of pulls by which 95 out of 100 players reach the goal; "worst case" is where the odds are practically 100%. If you plan to spend money, make sure you can afford at least the "unlucky" number.
Are single pulls or 10-pulls better?
The top-rarity rate is the same. A 10-pull only bundles the guaranteed 4-star-or-better item, so once you are in soft pity, pulling one at a time and stopping when you get what you want can save currency.
Can it tell me how much I'll have saved by the next banner?
Enter the days left and your daily income under "Savings by the banner" and the calculator adds what you'll earn by then. Picking an upcoming banner fills in the days for you, and Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero and Wuthering Waves come with daily missions (60) and the monthly pass (90) pre-filled. Add one-off income such as event rewards as a total under "Other expected income".
What if a new banner has different rates?
Our staff add each new banner's rates and pity when it opens. If the numbers don't match the in-game notice, use the report button below the calculator. If a banner isn't added yet, open "Custom settings (advanced)" and enter the rates from the in-game notice.
