Gunther at the Pelican Town Museum hands out a reward at each donation milestone, and donating all 95 items earns you a Stardrop. Here is every milestone and where to find the artifacts and minerals you still need.
Items to donate: 42 Artifacts + 53 Minerals = 95
Final reward: Stardrop + A Complete Collection achievement
Duplicates: Only one copy of each item can be donated
Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; closed on Town and Festival days
Museum Basics
The Museum sits in the southeast corner of Pelican Town, just south of the Blacksmith. It is open 8 AM to 6 PM and closed on festival days. The collection starts empty and you can donate only one of each item. You can rearrange displays in the donation menu or by clicking the small paper on the left of Gunther's desk. There are 102 display spaces for 95 items, so a few stay empty.

Where to Find Artifacts
Artifact spots (dig with the hoe) are the main source. Drops vary by region and spots are much more common in winter. A Lost Book (20%, not on the Farm) replaces the artifact on that dig
Tilling dirt in the Mines and Skull Cavern can give Dwarf Scrolls or a Rusty Spoon at low rates
Monsters: Pepper Rex drops a Dinosaur Egg 10% of the time; Dwarf Scroll IV drops from most monsters at 0.1%
Artifact Troves, geodes (including Omni), fishing treasure chests, Bone Nodes and Secret Notes can also give artifacts
Frozen Geodes can hold the Ancient Drum and Magma Geodes the Dwarf Gadget
Where to Find Minerals
Foraged (4): Quartz, Earth Crystal, Frozen Tear, Fire Quartz, picked up in the Mines and Skull Cavern
Gems (8): Emerald, Aquamarine, Ruby, Amethyst, Topaz, Jade, Diamond, Prismatic Shard, mostly from gem nodes, crates, barrels, panning and fishing chests
Diamond drops from monsters deep in the Mines; Prismatic Shard comes from Iridium Nodes, Mystic Stones and rare monsters, so expect them last
Geode minerals (41): break geodes at Clint's for 25g each, or use a free Geode Crusher
Omni Geodes can contain any geode mineral; the Desert Trader sells them
Suggested Order
Stockpile geodes early and crack them in bulk once you own a Geode Crusher
Dig artifact spots in winter
Open every geode before donating, since unopened geodes do not count
Donate all four Dwarf Scrolls to unlock the Dwarvish Translation Guide
Save Diamond and Prismatic Shard for last
💡 Tip: Treasure chances rise once Lost Books are no longer possible, such as after the Museum is complete, and winter is the best time to dig artifact spots.
⚠ Reward names come from the English wiki. Smaller artifact-count rewards (drum and flute blocks and similar) are omitted because their exact thresholds were unclear. Based on version 1.6.
