Unlocking and rules
A cutscene on Fall 2, Year 1 installs the board in front of the Mayor's Manor, in any weather.
New orders appear on Mondays with a 7 to 28 day limit, and the timer runs even before you accept.
You can accept one new order per week and run several at once. Orders fill automatically, and cannot be canceled from the journal, so let them expire.
Collect a Prize Ticket from the box beside the board. Partial donations from failed orders can be retrieved from the Lost and Found box in Mayor Lewis's house.

Clint's Cave Patrol: slay 50 Bats, Dust Sprites, Skeletons or Grubs; 6,000g each time and the Geode Crusher recipe the first time; 7 days
Demetrius' Aquatic Overpopulation: catch 10 seasonal fish; sell value of the fish plus the Farm Computer recipe; 7 days
Demetrius' Biome Balance: catch 20 river, ocean or lake fish; 1,500g and the Farm Computer recipe; 7 days

Tips before you accept
Targeted Bait helps with Aquatic Overpopulation. Omelet, Leek and crop orders only count items gathered while the order is active, while Gunther's bones count from any source.
For Qi's Hungry Challenge, Big Slimes sometimes carry hearts that restore HP, passive healing gear such as the Vampire Ring or Fairy Box helps, and food buffs from before entering still apply.
For Qi's Cuisine the wiki suggests 669 Coffee plus 223 Fresh Triple Shot Espresso, or 1,667 Wheat Flour plus 1,667 Fresh Bread.
For Prismatic Grange, cheap sources are Spaghetti (red), Copper Ore (orange), Hay (yellow), Salad (green), Joja Cola (blue) and Void Essence (purple, limited to 10 per day from Krobus).
💡 Tip: Prioritize orders that grant recipes and furniture (Cave Patrol, the Farm Computer orders, the omelet and crop orders) to expand your automation and storage quickly.
